Northeastern Massachusetts Law Enforcement Council (NEMLEC) is a mutual assistance organization that consists of 59 police departments in Middlesex and Essex Counties as well as the Middlesex and Essex County Sheriff’s Departments. Each member commits resources to assist other agencies in order to improve law enforcement capabilities and capacities.
