The Lowell Police Department offers a medication return box location for residents to safely dispose of unwanted prescription medications.
Residents can come to the Lowell Police Station 24/7 to drop off unwanted, unused, or unneeded prescription medications (pill form only), and they will be safely disposed of, so that they will never get into the wrong hands. There is a drop box located in the department lobby. We do NOT accept sharps.
