The Lowell Police Department Citizens Police Academy is an eight-week program designed to provide Lowell residents ages 18+ with an overview of the police department. Topics of instruction will include the history of the LPD, traffic enforcement, impaired operation, fatality investigations, search and seizure, patrol vehicle overview and demo, School Resource Officers, Youth Services, Internal Affairs, POST, accreditation, Criminal Investigations, Family Services, specialty response units, and public affairs.
The Lowell Police Department will be conducting its next Citizens Police Academy on Wednesday nights from 6 PM – 9 PM starting April 10, 2024, and concluding on May 29, 2024. If you are interested in attending, please complete the form below.
