Congratulations to Lowell Police Capt. Marisol Nobrega, who was just honored as Middlesex Community College’s 2025 Distinguished Alum during graduation ceremonies held this morning at the Lowell Memorial Auditorium.
Capt. Nobrega, who currently serves as the Lowell Police Department’s Commanding Officer of Training and Recruitment, is an MCC and UMass Lowell graduate who has spent 27 years with the Lowell Police Department, rising through the ranks to become the department’s first Latina sergeant, lieutenant and captain. She is only the third woman to ever attain the rank of Captain at Lowell PD.
