A collaborative and interstate effort among local, county, state and federal law enforcement resulted in the arrest of Wisconsin homicide suspect Bryan Marrero-Carrasco, 24, in Lowell on January 16, 2025.
Marrero-Carrasco was wanted in connection with a homicide in the city of Milwaukee. An arrest warrant had been issued for Marrero-Carrasco charging First Degree Reckless Homicide.
Yesterday, he was arrested and charged as a Fugitive From Justice, without incident, by members of the Lowell Police Department/Middlesex Sheriff’s Office Warrant Apprehension Unit, Massachusetts State Police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section, and United States Marshals Service District of Massachusetts Fugitive Task Force.
The joint team was acting on information developed by the United States Marshals Service Eastern Wisconsin Violent Offender Task Force – Milwaukee.
Marrero-Carrasco subsequently appeared in court where he was ordered held at the Middlesex Jail and House of Correction pending extradition proceedings.
